PETALING JAYA: The price of standard processed chicken is much cheaper now with suppliers selling lower than the ceiling price set by the government.Mahadi Mubin, a chicken supplier based in Selangor, said there was a drop of 60 sen to RM8.80 per kg.

“As suppliers, we still need to bear the cost of feed that is still high. In order to make a profit, we have to reduce the price to sell more,” he said when contacted yesterday.
