State polls: Smooth and orderly nomination process for Dusun Tua

HULU LANGAT: Supporters for the three candidates contesting the Dusun Tua state seat showed up as early as 6am outside SAM Hulu Langat, the nomination centre.

While the Muda faction had set up in front of a carpet shop and the Perikatan Nasional supporters took up half of the street at Persiaran Metro, off Jalan Hulu Langat while the Barisan Nasional side was comfortably seated in Stesen Cendol Jambu having nasi lemak.

At precisely 10am, Dusun Tua returning officer Sr Abdul Haizul Faisal Abdul Hamid declared nominations closed.

The battle for the state seat will be a three-cornered fight between Hulu Langat Umno chief Datuk Johan Abdul Aziz, Muda candidate Al Hafiz Ikhwan and Perikatan candidate Azhar Hambali.
