Dhruv and The Kid Laroi say sorry to their fans

PETALING JAYA: R&B singer Dhruv has apologised to his Malaysian fans for not being able to perform at the Good Vibes Festival last night.

In an Instagram post, the London-based artiste said due to “issues outside of his control”, he could not enter the country.

“We have been inside the KL International Airport for the last 14 hours, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, I’m unable to enter the country,” he stated.

But he promised his fans to return and perform in Malaysia. “I am so sorry to anyone who got a ticket to see me play. I’m devastated, but I will make it my No. 1 priority to come back here.”

Australian rapper The Kid Laroi found out that the event was cancelled upon touching down at KLIA.

“Touched down and found out the festival is cancelled. I love you Malaysia. I’m sorry,” The Kid Laroi said on Instagram.

The Good Vibes Festival, which was initially scheduled to end today, was cancelled by the government after British pop rock band The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy publicly attacked local laws and breached local performance guidelines during his set.
