King lauds service, sacrifices of personnel on 93rd Malaysian Armed Forces Day

KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the 93rd Malaysian Armed Forces Day, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has expressed his highest appreciation for the service and sacrifices of its personnel in defending the country's sovereignty and security.

In a Facebook post shared on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's official page Wednesday (Sept 16), His Majesty, as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, also conveyed well wishes to its members on the occasion.

Sultan Ibrahim also prayed that all service members are always blessed with good health, strength and a resilient fighting spirit in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities for our beloved country.

The King also extended his appreciation to Armed Forces veterans for their contributions, service and sacrifices throughout their years in the force.

"Al-Fatihah for those who have departed. May their souls be showered with mercy, their sins forgiven, and may they be placed among the righteous," His Majesty said. – Bernama
