Tourist incident: Zahid to discuss resolution with Home Minister

KUCHING: The allegations of corruption against Immigration officers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) can be resolved through the proper administrative process, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said he would hold discussions with Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail on the matter, as the Immigration Department is under the latter's purview.

Ahmad Zahid said he had also spoken to Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who had highlighted an incident involving a Chinese tourist at KLIA.
