Aidiladha: Traffic smooth on major highways heading out of Klang Valley

KUALA LUMPUR: The traffic flow heading away from the Klang Vally on several major highways was smooth as at 8.30am Thursday (June 29).

A Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said there was only some congestion on the North-South Expressway heading north from Tapah in the direction of Gopeng, Perak.

"The traffic on other routes, especially heading to the east coast, such as at the Gombak Toll Plaza and the East Coast Highway (LPT) 1 and 2 were smooth and under control," the spokesman said.

He also advised the public to follow the suggested travel times issued for "balik kampung" journeys in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. - Bernama
