Hacken Lee shows up at Chong Wei’s mother’s birthday

HONG KONG singer Hacken Lee showed up at the 70th birthday party of former national badminton player Datuk Lee Chong Wei’s mother Khor Kim Chooi on Saturday, Sin Chew Daily reported

Lee shared a video of him having a chat with Hacken during the event on his Instagram account, with a caption: “Thanks for the surprise.”

Hacken then reposted Lee’s video saying that it was good to have met his old friend and wished Lee’s mother happy birthday as well.

Hacken was due to perform at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Hacken and Lee have been good friends for more than 10 years. They share the same love for badminton and they were seen playing the game together in their previous posts online.

Lee was invited to the concert by Hacken and Joey Yung in Genting Highlands in 2016 and Hacken’s solo concert also at the resort in 2019.
