JOHOR BARU: To prevent food wastage and reduce the burden on landfills, the government plans to expand the MySaveFood programme from Ramadan bazaars to night markets nationwide.
Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Fuziah Salleh said following the success of the programme during Ramadan – which prevented 25 tonnes of food from being dumped – pasar malam traders should also be roped in to help the needy.
