Anwar: Minor JKR projects to go to other depts, district offices

PUTRAJAYA: Minor infrastructure projects currently under Public Works Department (JKR) supervision such as the repair of dilapidated schools will be transferred to other departments or the district office, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic).

"I have discussed this with Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, that projects on repairs to dilapidated schools, clinics and toilets should no longer burden JKR, which has a huge responsibility," said Anwar.
