USED baby diapers and sanitary pads are among the types of rubbish found scattered in hotel rooms after guests check out, a cleaner told China Press.
Identified only as Madinah, 45, the hotel worker said her most unforgettable experience was when she once stumbled onto a “dead body”.
“I was shocked to see the body that was wrapped in a white blanket as I entered the room,” she said.
After checking, she realised that it was just a prank played by the guest.
“The condition of the rooms after checking out reflects the guest’s personality,” said Madinah.
She said families with children would usually leave behind a messy room.
“I have found dirty diapers on the tables or scattered around the rooms. There were also guests who stuck their used pantyliners onto the tables,” she added.
She said her biggest headache was dealing with cigarette smell and body odour.
> Sin Chew Daily reported that a dead cat was found hanging outside a double-storey house in Hulu Langat, Selangor.
A rope with one end tied to the window grille of an upstairs room at the back was coiled around the neck of the black cat.
Malaysia Animal Association president Arie Dwi Andika said local residents made the discovery around 10am last Friday.
The residents lodged a police report, and he urged the police to take action against the person responsible for killing the cat.
