No oil slick detected yet as fire rages on stricken tanker near Sedili


The Gabon-registered oil tanker caught fire on Monday (May 1). Three sailors are still missing.

JOHOR BARU: There have been no sightings of oil spills from the Gabon-registered oil tanker which caught fire near Tanjung Sedili waters.

Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) acting deputy director-general Rear Admiral (M) Datuk Saiful Lizan Ibrahim said the agency was monitoring the situation.
