Dengue: 21.8% drop in cases in 16th epidemiological week, says Health Ministry


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,877 cases of dengue fever was reported for the 16th epidemiological week (ME16) from April 16 to 22, a drop of 522 cases or 21.8% compared with 2,399 cases in the previous week.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan said one death due to dengue fever complications was also reported during the ME16 period.
