450,000 Chinese tourists lured during PM’s visit to Beijing


KUALA LUMPUR: The Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry has successfully lured 450,000 tourists from China after the signing of two agreements during Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s official visit to the country last month.

Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said the success was the result of the promotion done by Tourism Malaysia in conjunction with the Prime Minister’s visit to Beijing on March 29.
