The students are believed to be from a secondary school in the Kota Belud district, about 70km from here.

“We will investigate whether it was a fight among the students or a case of bullying,” said Kota Belud district police chief Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain.

He urged witnesses of the incident to come forward to help in the investigation.

In the video, a teenager wearing a red T-shirt is seen being punched several times by a student.
