Pupil dies in accident in Klang


KLANG: A nine-year-old was killed in a road accident after a lorry crashed into a motorcycle here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said the incident occurred along Jalan Tengah in Kampung Telok Gong on Wednesday (March 22).

“Three victims were involved and one of them died at the scene,” he said.

It is learnt that the motorcycle rider, a 54-year-old woman, was sending her neighbour’s two children back from school.

She and a seven-year-old boy survived with light injuries.
