Bersatu accounts are audited, claims Ahmad Faizal

PUTRAJAYA: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said that the party's finances are handled carefully.

“We have worked hard to ensure all spending and monies in and out are audited,” he said.

PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said action against Perikatan Nasional Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was a form of selective prosecution.

When met outside the MACC headquarters on Thursday (March 9), Tuan Ibrahim said that the government was doing this to bring attention away from the Home Ministry’s move to rectify a decision by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) against Umno.

“This is selective prosecution to cover up a big issue that has happened in one of their component parties which is Umno. God willing, this congregation here will be a part of more programmes that have been agreed by the highest leadership of Perikatan Nasional,” he said.
