He said they lodged a police report so an investigation could be conducted for abuse of power, conflict of interest and mismanagement.
"A news portal reported that the Selangor Mentri Besar is a director for Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd (LLSB).
"This scandal was revealed by Parti Hijau Malaysia secretary-general Abdul Razak Ismail," he told reporters after lodging the report at the Serdang police headquarters on Wednesday (March 1).
He also claimed that Selangor Infrastructure and Public Amenities, Agriculture Modernisation and Agro-Based Industry Committee chairman Izham Hashim was also a director of the same company.
"We urge the police to swiftly investigate these allegations for criminal misappropriation of property," he said.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan, when contacted, confirmed they had received the police report.
Meanwhile, Amirudin's press secretary Jay Jay Denis said that the project did not involve state funds.
"The company raised funds through a private finance initiative (PFI). It is a subsidiary company under Mentri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI).
"He (Amirudin) is a director of the company by virtue of the project being under MBI," he said when contacted.
He added that Amirudin held the post in his capacity as Selangor Menteri Besar to ensure that the state government's efforts to restore water quality and rejuvenate the Klang River are achieved in line with the decision of a state government meeting.
