Artistes must follow rules during performance

ALTHOUGH foreign artistes are allowed to perform in the country, they must respect the sensitivities and the local customs of Malaysians, says Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

In a written reply to Ahmad Fadhli Shaari (PN-Pasir Mas), he said the government would not stop any international celebrities or artistes from performing in the country as it believed that such events helped in the development of the creative industry as well as contributed to economic growth.
