PM Anwar attends MCA Chinese New Year open house


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim attended the MCA Chinese New Year 2023 reception at the party headquarters on Sunday (Jan 22).

The Prime Minister, who arrived at 9.25am in a red batik, was welcomed by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, party deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Han Soon, MCA secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon and other top party leaders.

Anwar was accompanied by his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Also present at the open house were, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Barisan Nasional secretary-general and Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, MIC deputy president Datuk Seri M. Saravanan
