Grape grower started a joke, now reaps what he sowed

IT all started as a joke for a man from Simpang Empat, Kedah, who had no idea his nursery could produce up to 50 different types of grapes.Kosmo! reported that Mohd Hisham Md Isa, 49, began planting a few types of grapes about a year ago as an experiment.

“About 10 months ago, I bought seeds from Indonesia just to give it a go. From there, I added a few more varieties after a while, and now there are over 50 types of grapes in my nursery, including varieties from the United States, India and Japan.
