Singer fails in bid to have his drug charges reviewed


PETALING JAYA: Nasyid singer and composer Muhammad Yasin Sulaiman failed to get the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) to review the three drug charges made against him.

Deputy public prosecutor Mohd Asnawi Abu Hanipah told Sessions Court judge Nik Nasimah Nik Mohammad during the case management session yesterday that the AGC had rejected the representation, but had yet to issue an official letter on the matter.
