KUNGFU actor Jet Li and his family spent six days in Kathmandu, Nepal, at the end of last month to visit his old friends, including renowned Tibetan Buddhist monk and meditation guru Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.
China Press reported that the Chinese star, who migrated to Singapore, was accompanied by his ex-actress wife Nina Li Chi, 62, and their two daughters Jada, 21, and Jane, 23.
Nina has rarely appeared in public after marrying Li in 1999. She has been taking care of their children and managing her husband’s assets, reportedly worth RM1.3bil.
Regarding his old friend Nubpa Rinpoche, Li said he was happy to meet the respected elder again during the visit.
“I last saw Nubpa Rinpoche 11 years ago at my home in Singapore.
“Recently, I brought my daughters to meet him in Nepal.
“He always has such a radiant smile that reminds me of the sun. The warmth from his presence will stay with me for a long time,” the 60-year-old said in his Instagram post.

After shooting to fame following the success of Hong Kong blockbuster A Chinese Ghost Story in 1987, Wong’s value skyrocketed to US$64,000 (RM279,940) per film.
