Batang Kali landslide: K-9 rescue dogs given rest from SAR operations here

HULU SELANGOR: Eight dogs have been given a chance to rest on Monday (Dec 19) after being involved in the search and rescue (SAR) operation at Father's Organic Farm here.

Six of the dogs were from the Fire and Rescue Department, while two were from the police's K-9 unit.

All eight were escorted from the SAR site at about 4pm.

The SAR operation has entered its fourth day and as of 4.45pm, nine victims were still missing.

On Sunday (Dec 18), Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Norazam Khamis said the SAR also used the tracking services of the K9 units from Bomba, the police and the Armed Forces.
