STUDENTS SHARE VISION FOR FUTURE HOMES

The Striking Otters’ winning design is a hexagonal timber house inspired by the hexagonal honeycomb cells. The judges approved of the modular construction method, timber as building material, and that the idea represented the ‘home of tomorrow’ concept.

SUBANG JAYA: The final showdown of Sime Darby Property Berhad’s Innovators of Tomorrow – Reimagine The Future Home competition on Dec 10 saw 10 school teams presenting their visions of tomorrow’s homes.

This was the culmination of an eight-week process that had included calling for entries, school engagements, video evaluations, shortlisting the final 10 teams and building actual prototypes, following the virtual launch of the competition on Oct 17.
