GEORGE TOWN: Star Education Fair 2022 organised by Star Media Group is coming back to Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Bayan Lepas, Penang, with the aim of serving all the various study options under one roof.

It will be held this weekend on Dec 10 and 11 from 11am to 7pm.

The one-stop education fair gives students the chance to not only pursue their interests but also apply for scholarships and merit awards provided by prestigious universities.

Before deciding on their university of choice, students will benefit from the superior insights provided by education professionals who will be giving talks on education and careers on both days.

At least 500 of those who pre-register stand a chance to walk away with vouchers from VIU, a premium video-on-demand services vendor.

The vouchers are worth three months of free access to the VIU Streaming Service, courtesy of VIU Streaming Media.

Visitors also stand a chance to win a mystery prize when they take part in the Register & Win contest, which will be held on both days of the event. Star Media Group Bhd reserves the right to substitute any prizes without any prior notice.

A total of 31 institutions will be participating in the fair.

Some of the highlighted institutes are Braemar College, Forward School, INTI International University & Colleges, Northeastern State University, Peninsula College Malaysia, SEGI University & College and Swinburne University of Technology Malaysia Campus.

Also being held at the same time and place is the myStarJob Fair 2022, with the aim of matching job seekers with the best career prospects that fit their qualifications.

Acclaimed companies representing a variety of industries and sectors, ranging from automotive and fashion to professional services, financial, food and beverages will be present at the all-in-one hiring solution specially curated for employers and job seekers.

Along with seeing potential employers in the flesh, job seekers will also have a chance to land onsite interviews and get employed right away.

Additionally, there will be a number of informative and thought-provoking career speeches from top business professionals on diverse subjects, including talent development and career advancement.

Pre-registered visitors to the myStarJob Fair also stand to get the VIU Voucher worth three months of free access to the VIU Streaming Service, courtesy of VIU Streaming Media (for the first 500 people each day).

They also stand a chance to win a mystery prize when they take part in the Register & Win contest, which will be held on both days of the event.

Both Star Education Fair 2022 and the myStarJob Fair are organised by Star Media Group. Admission to both events is free.
