PETALING JAYA: A 29-year-old lorry driver suffered serious injuries after he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a toll booth at the Ayer Hitam toll plaza in Puchong.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the incident occurred at about 2.52pm on Wednesday (Dec 7).
"The crash left the driver pinned in the vehicle.
"His left arm along with both his legs were broken," he said when contacted on Wednesday.
Personnel from the Cyberjaya fire station were dispatched to the scene, he said.
"Firemen managed to rescue the victim using special equipment.
"The victim was given initial treatment by medical personnel before being sent to a nearby hospital," he said.
