Dengue cases down 7.1% last week, says Health DG


KUALA LUMPUR: The number of dengue fever cases reported in the 46th epidemiology week (ME46/22) from Nov 13 to 19 decreased by 122 cases or 7.1% to 1,593 cases compared to 1,715 cases in the previous week.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in a statement on Thursday (Nov 24), said that there were no deaths due to dengue fever complications reported during the period.
