RAUB: Pakatan Harapan managed to retain the Raub parliamentary and Tras state seats while two other state seats – Batu Talam and Dong remained with Barisan Nasional.
Returning officer Datuk Mohammad Shahid Ismail announced that Chow Yu Hui from Pakatan won the Raub seat with 4,357-vote majority in a four-way battle.
Mohammad Shahid garnered 21,613 votes, while Barisan's Datuk Chong Sin Woon garnered 16,939 votes; Datuk Mohd Fakrunizam Ibrahim from Perikatan Nasional had 17,256 votes; followed by Norkhairul Anuar Mohamed Nor from Gerakan Tanah Air with 427 votes.
For the state seats, Barisan's Batu Talam incumbent Datuk Abd Aziz Mat Kiram managed to retain his seat with a 2,869-vote majority against Perikatan's Ahmad Sabri Mat Dui (5,123 votes) and Pakatan's Shahuddin Abdul Rahman (1,969 votes).
In Tras, Pakatan's Tengku Zulpuri Shah Raja Puji won with a 11,397-vote majority against Barisan's Lim Teck Hoe with 5,858 votes, Perikatan's Amirul Mukminin Kuek Abdullah (4,233 votes) and GTA's Mohd Tahir Kasim (340 votes).
In Dong, Barisan's Fadzli Mohamad Kamal emerged winner with a 1,046-vote majority, defeating Tengku Shah Amir Tengku Perang from Perikatan (5,096 votes) and Mohd Abd Jawaad Abd Ghafar @ Ramzin (2,309 votes).
