PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed that it has visited the office of Invoke Solutions Sdn Bhd, the data firm founded by Rafizi Ramli.
The visit was to take documents related to the anti-graft body's investigation on the company, reported Utusan Malaysia.
MACC investigation division senior director Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hashim said the presence of several MACC officers at the office at 11.30am on Tuesday (Nov 15) had been a normal procedure when an investigation was being conducted.
He said no statements from any individual were taken and instead only information regarding the documents were obtained.
"All the relevant documents were taken for review, following a report submitted by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) last week on the net asset value of RM18.85mil belonging to PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli.
"After that, further action will be taken depending on the documents examined," he told the daily.
On Tuesday night (Nov 15) at a ceramah in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur, Rafizi revealed that Invoke Solutions had been "raided".
Rafizi questioned the action as he claimed to have exposed the scandal involving the littoral combat ship (LCS) project and the flood mitigation project worth RM2bil along with evidence, but the matter was not investigated by the MACC.
Previously, the MACC announced that it would open an investigation paper regarding Rafizi's property declaration, following a report made by an NGO regarding the asset declaration by the Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Pandan Parliament.
