GE15: Preservation of heritage sites a priority for Gemas-JB double-tracking project

PETALING JAYA: The preservation of heritage sites will be prioritised in the construction of the Gemas-Johor Baru Electrified Double-Tracking Project (EDTP), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said that he had heeded the concerns of locals, brought to him by Barisan Nasional's Kluang candidate Gan Ping Sieu, regarding the issue of the Sri Parasathy Amman Temple, which is located along the planned track and that he had taken measures to ensure the temple would be preserved.
