Parts of Shah Alam hit by flash floods


PETALING JAYA: Flash floods have struck several areas in Shah Alam following non-stop rain that began at 3pm on Tuesday (Nov 8).

The areas affected so far include parts of Section 17, Section 24, Section 25, Section 32, Section 36, Bukit Naga, Alam Impian, Sri Muda, Bukit Jelutong and even roads leading to the Kota Kemuning toll plaza, according to several shared videos posted on social media.

In a Facebook post, Kota Kemuning assemblyman V. Ganabatirau also reported that floods had struck the areas of Bukit Kemuning and Bukit Rimau.
