A WOMAN’s fun-filled holiday quickly turned sour after she was allegedly charged RM25 for a plate of rice with a small portion of squid.
Utusan Malaysia reported that the woman later posted a 23-second video on social media in which she talked about how upset she was that a restaurant in Kuala Terengganu charged such a high price.
The woman also warned others to be careful when choosing a restaurant to avoid the same predicament.
In the comment section, many residents in Kuala Terengganu said the restaurant was known for its high prices.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Terengganu director Saharuddin Mohd Kia said an investigation would be carried out, adding that action could be taken against any restaurant that failed to display their price tags.
> A woman is now on the wanted list after fleeing from a private hospital without paying her bills.

Kuala Muda police chief ACP Zaidy Che Hassan said the 32-year-old woman registered as a patient at the private hospital at around 6.40pm on Sunday.
“However, at 9.30pm, the hospital informed the woman that her insurance could not be used, so she refused to continue treatment and wanted to leave.
“The nurse then told the doctor on duty and they processed her discharge.
“The patient was also asked to pay the fee and collect her medicine at the pharmacy,” he said, adding that the patient, however, left at around 10.40pm.
