GE15: 14-day campaigning period is sufficient, says Ismail Sabri

PUNCAK ALAM: The 14 days campaigning period set for the upcoming 15th General Election is sufficient, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

"It is enough. There were times when the period was even shorter," said the Prime Minister and Umno vice president, adding that all political parties should plan well for the 14-day period.

Ismail Sabri said this after launching the opening ceremony of the Kuala Selangor Malaysia Entrepreneurs and Cooperatives Carnival at Dataran Eco Grandeur, here.

The Election Commission earlier announced Nov 19 as the polling date while nomination day will be on Nov 5 and early voting on Nov 15.
