Suraya quits to be a party player


ALOR SETAR: Sungai Tiang assemblyman Datuk Suraya Yaacob (pic) has quit her state executive councillor post to help her party in GE15, which is expected to be a closely-contested affair in Kedah.

She wants to focus on working for Barisan Nasional during the polls and in order for her to do her part as a party member, Suraya said it was important that she quit her post in the state administration.
