Repair works at LRT, MRT stations to be completed by year-end


KUALA LUMPUR: Repair works on escalators and lifts which have broken down at several light rail transit (LRT) and mass rapid transit (MRT) stations are expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, in a statement on Saturday (Oct 15) said for Monorail stations which were originally designed without lift, civil works and installation of the facility will start in stages in April 2023, and are expected to be fully completed in May 2024.
