PUTRAJAYA: Royal Floria Putrajaya 2022 will present a flower exhibition and display gardens of lights at night throughout the seven days of the event starting Monday (Aug 29).

He said orchids were the theme flower of the event this time and it had attracted the participation of more than 20 agencies and community gardens from around and outside Putrajaya to sell various products at the Floria 2022 bazaar.

In line with the selection of orchids as the theme flower, the exhibition brings together approximately 10,000 orchid plants apart from more than 400,000 flowering plants of various species and cultivars as well as ornamental plants.

"The 25 main components of Floria on display include the 'Wall of Orchids' which brings together more than 300 orchids in addition to 'Oncidium Tunnel' with 10 iron structures shaped like tunnels as the royal route," he told reporters after inspecting Floria 2022 Sunday (Aug 28).

Also on display is the Keluarga Malaysia Garden with a concept adapted from the three values of "Inclusiveness, Togetherness and Gratitude" as well as the Royal Pavilion featuring a songket motif starting from the main arch.

According to him, the organisation this time involved a cost of RM3mil.
