Elderly woman found dead in KL lake

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was found dead in a lake in Perdana Botanical Garden.

“Investigations showed that the victim is a 68-year-old local woman from Bangsar. An umbrella and the victim's slippers were found.

“Tied to her neck was a note that contained the phone numbers of family members. According to family members she left the house at 6am and had left a letter to her children,” said Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya when contacted.

A post-mortem will be conducted at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
