SHAH ALAM: Puan Sri Saenah Ahmad, the widow of former Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Ani Arope, was laid to rest at the Muslim cemetery in Section 21 here on Wednesday (July 13).

She breathed her last at 4.30pm yesterday at the Shah Alam Hospital.

She was 84.

About 60 people comprising relatives and close friends attended the funeral.

Her son, Ismail Ani Arope, 50, told Bernama that his mother was an active person who loved extreme sports but it all changed after she had a stroke in 1999.

"We shared a lot similarities. We love art, interior design, and fashion, and I always enjoyed doing things with her,” he said. - Bernama
