Tajuddin gives continued support to Ismail Sabri as PM


PASIR SALAK: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob should still be the Prime Minister after the 15th General Election, says Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.

The Pasir Salak MP said he would continue to support Ismail Sabri as prime minister.

"He has not made any mistakes but why are there allegations that he is not fit to be prime minister?

"He has done a lot of things to lessen the burden of the people within his first year as PM," he said after attending the closing ceremony of Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia tour at Litar Dato Sagor here Sunday (July 3).

Tajuddin was removed as a member of the Umno supreme council last month.

He was also appointed as the Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia.
