Body of senior citizen reported missing found in ditch


PETALING JAYA: A senior citizen was found dead in a trench near her home after being reported missing on Saturday (June 11).

The victim has been identified as 76 year old Masriah Saaludin.

When contacted on Sunday (June 12), Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said that the body was found around 200 metres away from her home in Kampung Tebuk Berihun.

“The victim was reported missing from her home yesterday. Her body has been retrieved and handed over to the police for further action,” he said.
