Umno EGM seeks to defer party polls until after GE15

KUALA LUMPUR: The Umno extraordinary general meeting (EGM) will convene on Sunday (May 15) in a bid to amend its constitution to enable party polls to be conducted after the general election.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 2pm at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre here, with about 2,000 delegates expected to attend.
