Future Aviation Forum to be held biennially due to its success, says Dr Wee


PETALING JAYA: Due to the success of the Future Aviation Forum in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom will now hold the event on a biennial basis, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister attended the forum which was held from May 9 to 11.

“The insights and info gleaned from the forum will help the Transport Ministry plan and improve the aviation landscape, as we look to more borders reopening worldwide and gradual lift-off of passenger air travel again.

“On behalf of the Malaysian delegation, we must express our deepest gratitude to Saudi Arabia for their invitation and great care of us during our stay.

“We look forward to working ever closer together for the good of our people and countries,” he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (May 12).

He also shared a five-minute nine-second long video which was shared by Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation, the host for the Future Aviation Forum 2022.
