PETALING JAYA: If you are willing to make the extra journey to beat the congestion for passport renewal at the Immigration Department offices in the Klang Valley, you can drive to Kuantan or Perlis and get it done in an hour or so.
Comedian Gajen Nad shared his unusual and impromptu decision to get his passport renewed at UTC Pahang after he was offered a last-minute job in Singapore.
Gajen, whose passport had expired, decided to think out of the box to avoid the massive crowd at the Immigration offices in Klang Valley.

“I am leaving for Kuantan right now... yes, very impromptu because tomorrow morning, I have an appointment to renew my passport. Yes ladies and gentlemen, half of the cities in Malaysia, all the appointments to renew the passport are full for next two months.
“So only Kuantan and Perlis left, the last I just checked, something to think about,” he said in the video.
