Depot riot: 72 Rohingya escapees still at large as manhunt continues

ALOR SETAR: Police are still tracking down the remaining 72 Rohingya detainees who escaped from the Sungai Bakap Immigration Detention Depot near Bandar Baharu here on Wednesday (April 20).

Kedah police chief Comm Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad said eight detainees were recaptured on Saturday (April 23) and Sunday (April 24), while efforts to track down the remaining escapees were ongoing.
