More evacuees as floods worsen

KUALA LUMPUR: More flood victims have been evacuated to relief centres (PPS) in Terengganu and Kelantan, bringing the total number in both states to 26,447 people as at 8am yesterday, hours before Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob visited some of them.

In Terengganu, the number of flood victims increased to 17,384 people (4,549 families) from 16,756 people (4,269 families) on Tuesday.
