Over 700,000 kids in Malaysia vaccinated

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 708,187 individuals or 19.9% of children aged five to 11 in Malaysia have received their first dose of vaccine under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Thursday (Feb 25).

Based on statistics from the CovidNow website, 14,365,114 individuals or 61.1% of the adult population in the country had received their booster jab and 22,946,836, or 97.5%, had completed their vaccination. A total of 23, 226,005 or 98.7% of those eligible have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
