Road users advised to avoid Jalan Masjid Negeri route after tree falls on car in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: Motorists are advised to avoid using the Jalan Masjid Negeri route towards the Penang Bridge after a tree hit a car.

In a statement on Tuesday (Feb 22), the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) advised the public to choose alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion in the area. “The MBPP team comprising workers from the Landscape Department, Municipal Services Department and the Enforcement Department rushed to the location of the fallen tree at Jalan Masjid Negeri after receiving a call from the public.
