GEORGE TOWN: Although the price of a “standard chicken” is capped at RM8.90 per kg, those who prefer choice cuts will have to pay more.
At a supermarket chain in Gurney Drive, skinless and boneless chicken breasts are going for RM22.90 per kg, while drumsticks are RM13.30 per kg and de-boned drumsticks – for chicken chop – are RM19.90 per kg.
