Police investigating "Datuk Seri" who attacked Thai woman in restaurant


KLANG: Police are investigating an alleged attack by a "Datuk Seri" on a Thai woman who rejected his advances, says South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong.

He said that the police would be investigating the matter for causing harm and molestation (cabul).

"We are investigating the matter," he said when asked to comment on the issue that occurred on Dec 9.

He added when met at the district police headquarters here on Wednesday (Dec 15) that the police would verify the validity of the suspect's title.

On Dec 9 a Thai woman was allegedly attacked by the man at a seafood restaurant in Klang.

A Chinese daily reported that the woman was attacked after she was groped by the man.
