Melaka Polls: Cops probe report of voter who allegedly uploaded picture of ballot paper on social media

MELAKA: Melaka police are investigating the case of a voter who allegedly uploaded a picture of his ballot paper on a social media platform, says the state police chief.

Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said posting a picture of the ballot paper is an offence as the Election Commission had reminded voters against doing so.

He said the post was detected by the police's social media team.

DCP Abdul Majid added that a report has been lodged over the incident, which took place at about 9.30am on Saturday (Nov 20).
